Year 6 Whitemoor Lakes Residential - April 2014
9 to 11 April 2014
In April, Year 6 enjoyed a residential trip to Whitemoor Lakes. There, they enjoyed lots of different activities.
The high ropes took a lot of strength, courage and determination to complete. After a difficult climb, came the 'leap of faith'. This was where children jumped off the platform to grab on to the bar.
They also enjoyed some team challenges. These involved solving puzzles, listening to one another and co-operation.
There were two climbing towers, one under cover and the other one outside. Children encouraged each other to go higher and gave advice as to where to put their feet and hands when they were stuck.
Not all activities were outdoors. We also tried our hand at archery and fencing inside the centre.
