On Friday 9th September, Year 2 took part in 'Beach Day'. This was part of our WOW Opener for our topic this half term - The Sea. There was sand, sea, sun, fishing, puppet shows and even sharks!

Here are some of the thoughts the children had about Beach Day:

• Chloe – "Beach Day was really fun."
• Alex – "I liked going surfing on Beach Day."
• Adil – "This best part about Beach Day was when the shark ate all the people!"

It was a great day, which the children all really enjoyed.
