Community
Yenton is very fortunate to work closely with the community, through our links with local schools (eg. Wilson Stuart Sports Partnerships, Erdington Consortium of Schools) and other professionals. We regularly work with Health Services, including the school nurses and local GPs.
Partnerships with other schools include Gifted and Talented Workshops that are usually held at Yenton, where we have a number of children attend from local schools. This are run half termly.
We have links with Wylde Green Rotary and they attend our assemblies every year, to celebrate our Year 6's success when they move on to Secondary.
Our Harvest Assemblies provide invaluable contributions to St Basils and local Residential Centres for the Elderly. We have raised hundreds of pounds for Children in Need, Red Nose Day and Sport Relief.

Wilson Stuart Sports
Wilson Stuart Active Society CIC advocates the School Games and launched in September 2011. With 33 schools as direct members, it was established to embed the legacy work of the previous Wilson Stuart School Sports Partnership and Sutton Coldfield Primary School Sports Association.
Its aim is to create and build upon a youth sport porgrame in the Sutton Coldfield and Erdington area increasing competition, sport participation rates and healthy development of the young people.
Based at Wilson Stuart School, we work collaboratively with schools to promote PE, School Sport and Community Sport and now advocate the School Games... a Social Enterprise improving PE and School Sport
See the Wilson Stuart Sports website (external link) for more information.
