With the unfortunate demise of the Parent Teacher Association in the academic year 2010/11 and a shortfall in new volunteers, Yenton was determined to run a disco for the children, as a celebration for their hard work and good behaviour during the year.

Major thanks go to Peter Armitage and the Post Office for providing the funding, so that the school could offer the disco free of charge.

In a non-uniform day too, infants danced between 2.30 and 3.15pm, before after school years 3, 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed their chance to party. Finally in the last hour from 4.30 to 5.30pm Year 6 enjoyed their Leavers' Disco, before finishing with a fish and chip supper.

A treat to end the year!
